The Individual Artist Grants Program supports the creation of new artistic works to advance our city’s reputation as a vibrant creative hub and a destination for cultural tourism. Applications for these grants are reviewed by external review panels composed of inclusive groups of artists, arts professionals and community volunteers selected for their expertise and objectivity.

After Receiving a Grant
Individual artists approved for a grant will enter into an agreement with Houston Arts Alliance that outlines the arts activities that will be supported through grant evaluations and accountability requirements.
