Site Description:

Bellaire is a close-knit community of 15,642 (www.bellaire.areaconnect.com/statistics.htm) covering 3.6 square miles which is physically bisected by Loop 610, a ten lane heavily traveled highway. Bellaire Boulevard has a well manicured greenbelt-median that creates an east-west axis through the city and is populated by low-density residential properties on the east, and professional and commercial properties on the west. There is a well-used park situated on one section of the Bellaire Boulevard median in close proximity to the central business district which is utilized for community events. It contains an historic Trolley Pavilion and a replica of a trolley car used by Bellaire residents to commute to work during the city’s rapid expansion in the 1920’s.
