ARTIST REGISTRY

The Cultural Arts Council's Civic Art + Design (CAD) program maintains a registry of artists interested in working in the public realm. Beginning in 2004, CACHH and the City of Houston have implemented a Juried Slide Registry.

Qualification submissions were due September 20, 2004.  The selection process is currently on-going; all artists will be notified of decisions at its conclusion.

Admission into the Juried Sldie Registry will allow those artist to be considered exclusively for some of the City of Houston Civic Art Program Projects.  At this time we anticipate that there will continue to be many "Open Calls" for artist opportunities.  These are advertised via e-mail and snail mail and are posted on this website.
